I finally figured out how to get Sara to sing for the camera, by using the webcam, so that she can watch herself. She loves it as you can see. We had to watch this about 20 times after we recorded it, and she sang along every time.

Houston Trip, Toni's visit

Visit LeHigh

We visited LeHigh this weekend to see the end of the regular softball season. Sara got to enjoy the party and got to drive the bus, and see grandpa and JoJo (Jody).

Visit to Central Park Zoo

We went to the Central Park zoo with Sara today. The penguins were my favorite. We also saw some polar bears and a red panda. Lots of sea lions and exotic birds too. I think Sara's favorite part was feeding the sheep in the petting zoo. Then we had a picnic in the park and came home.

Belize vacation

Sara was in her going up and down stairs phase. So her favorite part of the trip was the Mayan pyramid. It took a long time for her to warm up to the sand, but she finally did. The water of the ocean she never got used to.

Dad's visit

Dad came to visit on his way to see my sister play softball. We took Sara to the park where she discovered that she loved the wobbly bicycle.

Of course, we didn't think to take a picture with Dad in it!

I'm big in Taiwan

The video that i made on how to fold a cd envelope has been been viewed by over 130,000 people! It has been in the top 20% most popular videos for a few months in Taiwan. About 4000 views a day.

Gan is not impressed that my howto video is so popular, and i remind her that she did the camera work. (She's still not impressed).

Also, the soundtrack to my video is Bob Dylan singing an old gospel song "Wait for the Light to Shine". I suspect that it's had more airplay in Taiwan (thanks to me) than any other Bob Dylan recording.

Monte's Funeral

My uncle Monte recently died in a car accident, and my aunt was injured (and sad). Monte was one of the most well-liked people I've ever known, and he lived a good life. The funeral was as nearly happy as a funeral can be, with hundreds of people and all good memories. Just the sadness that there won't be any more of Monte for us to enjoy.

It was the first time that all of my cousins, except for Patty who was sick and unable to travel, have been together in probably over 10 years.
