I will be working as a "quantitative analyst" for a startup hedge fund in Manhattan. A whole new field for me (again)! I am really lucky and I know it. I hope i don't blow it.

Since the job is in Manhattan, about 1 1/2 hours each way from New Providence, we are moving to Hoboken, NJ. Just across the Hudson river from Manhattan, near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel.
Our new apartment is much bigger than our current one, and a lot nicer. It looks like the one in the photo (although that's a picture i found on the web). We will have a lot of windows, and a lot of room. We'll have 2 bathrooms, a dishwasher, central A/C, all the modern conveniences. And it's 2 blocks from the bus stop to the city (apparently a 15-minute commute). And it has a view of the Empire State Building!

Steve,
This is great news, congratulations! A fifteen minute commute sounds nice, especially into Manhattan...

If you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere!!

Steve,
I am so excited for you and the new job. What a surprise. YOu seem to be really inspired. I am happy to hear that you and your little family will be getting a larger apartment. More room for Little Miss Sara to roam and play. Keep in touch and let us know how everything goes. We are praying for you.
Love,
Shally
Hey Steve! Congratulations! Will your wife be changing jobs too? That is all so exciting. Hope the move is not too stressful.
Steve, that is really fantastic. I just spent about an hour looking at all your wonderful photos of Sara and Gan. Y'all look really happy together. And Sara is gorgeous. I have to say that I am a little saddened that you made it to Houston and Amarillo, but missed out on visiting your friends in the Capital City. Did you know that Bill Sherborne and family live here too. They moved from Frisco about a year ago. Well, I know that family comes first w/limited time, money, etc. so I won't hold it against you that you didn't get to us...Keep taking those beautiful pics and we'll keep looking at 'em.
Hope the new job goes well, Gan's too if she has to get one. Patsy
